Terms and conditions

By completing this application, I confirm that I agree to the following declaration:

• I agree to participate in the TCS London Marathon 2027 for Norfolk and Waveney Mind and pledge to raise a minimum of £2500 (excluding Gift Aid) which will be paid to Norfolk and Waveney Mind no later than 4 weeks after the event has taken place.
• I commit to raising at least 50% of the fundraising target (£1250) 3 months prior to race day (25th January 2027)
• If I am not able to fundraise the minimum amount, I understand that I am to cover the outstanding amount myself.
• I understand that the registration fee of £100 is a non-refundable payment on confirmation of my place.
• I understand that there is a second stage of registration with the event organisers (at no extra cost), and that I will need to complete this in order to take part in the event.
• I hereby confirm that I am 18 years or over and acknowledge that I am taking part in this activity entirely at my own risk. I therefore do not hold Norfolk and Waveney Mind or any of its representatives responsible for any injury or loss that might occur as a result of my participation.
• I commit to informing Norfolk and Waveney Mind as soon as possible if I am unable to take part in London Marathon due to injury or illness.
• Norfolk and Waveney Mind reserves the right to use any image of me on the day for future marketing for the event across Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s website, social media platforms and other marketing channels, unless I request otherwise.

• All charity place deferrals are at Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s absolute discretion and are not guaranteed.
• We completely understand that things may not always go to plan, and we ask if you are unable to take part in the 2027 TCS London Marathon, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible to discuss deferring.

• If you have raised a minimum of 50% of your fundraising commitment (£1250 not including Gift Aid) and haven't deferred on a previous occasion, you will be offered a deferral to the 2028 team.
• If you have not raised anything towards your minimum fundraising target and/or asked to defer after the console has closed, we will not be able to offer you a deferral to the 2028 team and will ask you to re-apply.
• If you are offered a deferral, your registration fee is not refundable, and you will be asked to re-pay your registration fee to secure your place in the 2028 event. Please also be aware that this registration fee could increase at the charity’s discretion.
• Any money you have raised can also be rolled over to count towards your fundraising total next time, but the minimum fundraising target may change annually at Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s discretion.
