How your support makes a difference

Nicole's story

Nicole shares how she lost her partner Martin to suicide and how support from Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s suicide bereavement service helped her feel less alone and begin to find hope again. She explains that connecting with others who understood her grief made a real difference in her healing journey.

Your support for Norfolk and Waveney Mind, through joining our events and donating to us, allows our services to keep supporting people like Nicole. Because with the right support and resources, anyone can begin to rebuild. Anyone can find strength again.

And no one should have to do it alone.
"If I had to describe Norfolk and Waveney Mind's suicide bereavement service to anyone, I would just say that it is one of the most beneficial things that I have ever come across in my whole entire life. That was the first time since losing Martin that I felt heard and that I felt like there was actual tangible support available."

Where does the money go?
All funds raised stay local, supporting Norfolk and Waveney Mind and vital mental health services in our community.
We are an independent charity, raising our own funds and run by our own Board of Trustees. We do not receive any funding from national Mind - everything we raise locally, stays locally.

Do I have to perform?
Not at all! The event is designed to be fun and inclusive. You can engage as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
We will have actors involved on the day who will be able to support.
