Trigger warning
Please note that these courses include significant amounts of discussion on the topic of suicide which some attendees may find stressful or upsetting. Suicide Response and ASIST courses also include activities in which conversations about suicide are demonstrated. Our facilitators are skilled in managing these activities and conversations and will support attendees to build their confidence in discussions. However, we do ask that you carefully consider whether this training is appropriate for you before booking.
Safeguarding
Our trainers are skilled in managing difficult and emotive conversations about mental health and suicide. Our courses are designed to educate and build confidence but can sometimes become emotive. If we have concerns for your wellbeing during a course, a trainer may check in with you to ensure you are able to continue. Similarly, if you leave a course unexpectedly, a member of our team may check in with you via telephone to ensure you are well. If you are making a booking via your workplace, we may notify your line manager or workplace contact should we have any concerns around your wellbeing – this is always undertaken confidentially and the attendee is notified in advance.
