This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re taking action to support positive mental health at work, and we’re inviting local organisations to join us. Across the UK, workplace stress and mental health pressures are rising. According to MHFA England:
- 9 in 10 adults experienced high or extreme pressure or stress in the past year
- 1 in 5 employees needed time off due to stress‑related mental health concerns
- Only 45% of managers have received training in mental health conversations
- As a result, just 51% of employees feel confident that their manager could offer support
Our Thrive: Workplace Wellbeing Morning brings businesses together to share tools, strategies, and practical guidance for supporting better mental health in the workplace. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to connect with like‑minded organisations and exchange ideas on improving wellbeing at work.
Throughout the morning, we’ll explore practical, expert‑led sessions focusing on:
Understanding and managing stress and burnout
Real, actionable strategies for supporting yourself and your team — and helping prevent burnout.
Supporting people facing barriers to employment
How poor mental health affects employment, and how your organisation can collaborate with Norfolk and Waveney Mind to help people build confidence and move back into work.
Talking about suicide safely
Guidance from specialists on recognising risk, having supportive conversations, and understanding the preventative actions organisations can take.
All sessions are designed to give you useful tools and insight you can take straight back to your workplace.
