What is REST?

Alternative crisis response for those situations in which an individual is experiencing significant distress without compromised mental capacity. De-escalation, support planning and liaison with other services as required.
 
Who is REST for?

REST is for those aged over 18 years old and are willing to engage with the support line and have provided verbal consent to share information. 

Individuals must have a high level of crisis / distress that requires support to stop escalation of need and further deterioration of the persons wellbeing.

Individuals will be in a position where they feel unable to cope and need immediate support and will be registered with a GP practice in Norfolk and Waveney Mind CCG.

 

How do I access this service?
  • A person is referred into the service by a professional. 
  • A person can walk in to the hub and asks for support.

REST Norwich offer a daytime community wellbeing hub, open 10:00 - 17.30 and café run by The Feed Norwich open 09:30 - 15:30, 7 days per week

Call us on 0300 330 5488 option 1 or email rictriage@norfolkandwaveneymind.org.uk where you will be met by a Recovery Triage Operator who will provide you with further information about this service.
