Take on the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales with this thrilling challenge!

Taking on Britain’s best-known mountain-climbing challenge is a great way to see our country’s most spectacular scenery while fundraising for Norfolk and Waveney Mind.

What does it involve?

Climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon – the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – involves trekking around 26 miles and climbing almost 3,000m. That’s equivalent to ten times up the Eiffel Tower! Doing so within 24 hours is a gruelling but popular challenge, and if you’re keen to take it on, we’ll be with you every step of the way. This years challenge takes place Friday 2nd  - Sunday 4th August 2024.

How will you support me?

Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a first-timer, Norfolk and Waveney Mind will be there to support you. We'll do all we can to make sure your Three Peaks experience is one you’ll never forget.

We offer all our trekkers a fantastic support package, including:

  • A Fundraising Officer on hand to answer your questions and guide you through your training and fundraising
  • A Norfolk and Waveney Mind t-shirt and fundraising materials
  • Fantastic support every step of the way

Then when the big weekend comes, your trip will be led by fully qualified, experienced mountain leaders and includes accommodation and transport for the whole challenge (starting and finishing at Chester train station).

What do I have to do?

We ask that all participants fundraise a minimum of £940, of which 80 per cent must be raised 10 weeks before the event, or are able to pay for the challenge yourself via the self-funded option.
