REST stands for Recover, Eat, Support, Talk.

Our REST Community Wellbeing Hubs are welcoming walk-in services located in the heart of our communities. They provide one-to-one and group-based support for people experiencing mental health difficulties within a non-clinical environment.

What We Offer

Drop-In Support:

We offer 30-minute, non-clinical mental health appointments with a Recovery Worker or Peer Support Worker, available seven days a week.

These short sessions provide an opportunity to explore what is currently affecting your mental health and discuss how we can support you. This may include:

  • Referral into our six-week structured support package
  • Referral to other internal services
  • Signposting to external providers
  • Non-judgemental emotional support

Six-Week Structured Support Package:

We offer six sessions with the same Recovery Worker or Peer Support Worker, usually once a week over six weeks.

Working in a person-centred way, you will identify what may support your recovery and the steps you can take to achieve your goals. Sessions may include:

  • Exploring coping strategies and practical tools
  • Working towards personal goals
  • Exploring purpose and meaning
  • Building confidence and resilience

These sessions are designed to provide hope, empower individuals, and support people to take control of their wellbeing.

Community Café and Garden:

Our community café and garden provide a safe and welcoming space to spend time alone or with others, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Visitors can enjoy affordable food and drinks, including quality coffee. We also operate a Pay It Forward scheme, offering hot drinks to people experiencing financial hardship.

We welcome group bookings and are happy to discuss external and events catering options.

Groups:

We offer a variety of groups and activities where people can socialise, develop skills, and connect with others who share similar interests.

Room Hire:

We welcome external agencies and organisations to use our facilities.

Two group rooms are available to hire at a suggested donation of £10 per hour, which contributes towards our Pay It Forward scheme.

Both rooms can accommodate up to 12 people, and catering can be provided for an additional cost.
