Mental Health First Aid, Managing Mental Health in the Workplace and Awareness training
Trigger warning
Please note that these courses include significant amounts of discussion on the topic of poor mental including suicide, psychosis and references to eating disorders and self-harm. Some attendees may find this stressful or upsetting.
Safeguarding
Our trainers are skilled in managing difficult and emotive conversations about mental health and suicide. Our courses are designed to educate and build confidence but can sometimes become emotive. If we have concerns for your wellbeing during a course, a trainer may check in with you to ensure you are able to continue. Similarly, if you leave a course unexpectedly, a member of our team may check in with you via telephone to ensure you are well. If you are making a booking via your workplace, we may notify your line manager or workplace contact should we have any concerns around your wellbeing – this is always undertaken confidentially and the attendee is notified in advance.
