What is Routes Employment Service?
Routes employment service is here to support people with a diagnosis of severe mental illness (SMI) into employment.
We understand how difficult it can be making the first steps back into employment on your recovery journey.
We work directly with individuals, local employers and partners to build good working relationships. We can also provide in-work support, if required, once you have gained employment.
One-to-one personalised support to gain employment; CV writing, effective application forms, interview skills and individualised job searches.
Who is Routes Employment Service for?
People with a diagnosis of severe mental illness (SMI) to assist them into employment, ensuring that it is in line with their personal preferences.
How do I access this service?
Appropriate referrals are made to other agencies where it would support the person with their presenting issue(s). Consent is gathered from them for all referrals and this is noted on Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s Client Management System. You can self-refer or be referred by any Mental Health Professional or your GP.
A referral can be made by your care co-ordinator or key worker and you will receive a phone call from a team member to discuss your needs and explore your options.
