Neurodivergent Youth Group 

A group that brings together individuals that identify or have been diagnosed as being autistic, ADHD, Dyslexic amongst others. The group is set up to support individuals, families their carers by discussing challenges, sharing ideas and positive coping mechanisms. The group is open to all and run by a qualified worker.

Sue Lambert Trust Drop-in

A member of Sue Lambert Trust will be providing a listening ear to support people who need to chat to someone about sexual abuse, assault or violence. The drop-in will be on the last Thursday of every month from 10am-12pm. There is no need to book,  you can just turn up.

Older Person's Group

The group offers a comfy setting for those who are older, or with mild to moderate dementia. A two-course cooked lunch is provided. The group work on memory skills, relaxation techniques as well as taking the opportunity to hone living skills, such as helping to prepare lunch.

LGBTQIA+ Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course

A FREE course exploring how to develop mindfulness in everyday life.

In this 8-week mindfulness-based stress reduction course, we offer a safe and supportive space to explore mindfulness and how it can help us to live our lives more fully. We will cultivate greater levels of resilience, acceptance and kindness towards ourselves as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Monthly Forest Bathing with Nature Connect Starting from Sloughbottom Park Pavilion

We’ll take a gentle circular mindful stroll lasting about 1 hour 15 minutes incorporating elements of the Japanese practice of shinrin – yoku or ‘forest bathing’. On this guided walk, we’ll offer a series of invitations and calming mindful practices to help us become more aware of, and connect with, the nature around us and discover how much we are part of it. We’ll finish with tea and a chance to reflect together on how the forest bathing experience was for us.

You can now meet the Citizen’s Advice Bureau at the Hub every Tuesday from 11am to 5pm. They are able to provide support on the day and give advice relating to welfare rights, benefits, debt, housing, budgeting amongst others. You do not need an appointment to access this support and everyone is welcomed.
