Light the way to better mental health with Norfolk and Waveney Mind

10 October 2026

From 4pm

Norwich City Centre

Tickets coming soon

We were thrilled and overwhelmed at the popularity of the Night Walk in its first year. Over 200 people turned out to walk side by side with us for mental health. Together we raised over £29,000 which will go back into supporting mental health services in our local community.

We're back to to light up the streets of Norwich for World Mental Health Day 2026! Take on our Night Walk around central Norwich, ending with a vibrant silent disco and support your local mental health charity.

By joining us and raising funds, you're supporting vital mental health services in Norfolk and Waveney. Whether you take part in memory of a loved one, supporting a cause close to your heart, or to enjoy the city lit up at night, your fundraising makes all the difference.

What our fundraisers receive

How your support makes a difference

Nicole's story

Nicole shares how she lost her partner Martin to suicide and how support from Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s suicide bereavement service helped her feel less alone and begin to find hope again. She explains that connecting with others who understood her grief made a real difference in her healing journey.

Your support for Norfolk and Waveney Mind, through joining our events and donating to us, allows our services to keep supporting people like Nicole. Because with the right support and resources, anyone can begin to rebuild. Anyone can find strength again.

And no one should have to do it alone.
"If I had to describe Norfolk and Waveney Mind's suicide bereavement service to anyone, I would just say that it is one of the most beneficial things that I have ever come across in my whole entire life. That was the first time since losing Martin that I felt heard and that I felt like there was actual tangible support available."

Event sponsorship

The Night Walk was proudly sponsored by Rogers & Norton Solicitors in 2025. We were also supported by The Forum, who hosted the silent disco and will host us again in 2026. We were also lucky enough to have our event t-shirts gifted by Totally Branded, have mini sponges donated by Sponge for the participant goodie bags.

We are incredibly grateful for the sponsorship and support provided to us by local organisations who understand the importance of mental health in our community.
