Zing into spring with a Fun-Raising Fortnight to support mental health
As spring approaches, we're inviting supporters to raise a smile, while raising much-needed funds to support mental health, with our first ever Fun-Raising Fortnight.
The event takes place from 15th to 28th March with six challenges to choose from, including tying yourself to someone in your household for a three-legged day, letting the kids do your hair and make-up for the Styled Wild challenge, and banishing phones for a screen-free day.
Those who enjoy getting creative can share their skills by putting on a Zoom class, and keen chefs can take on the Fakeaway challenge to whip up tasty treats for friends and neighbours.
For a more relaxing activity, there’s a 14-day yogathon with daily ten-minute videos to follow.
The money raised will allow the charity to be there for those struggling with mental health problems in Norfolk and Waveney.
Fundraising Manager Beth Twite said: “Supporting your community can be a great way to boost your mood, whilst also raising vital funds which help us make sure no one in Norfolk and Waveney has to struggle with their mental health alone. We’d love to see as many people as possible get involved and join us in some spring fun.”
