Chelsea braves the shave and raises £1k for Norfolk and Waveney Mind 19 January 2021 | Fundraising | By Norfolk & Waveney Mind A fearless fundraiser has raised over £1,000 by shaving her head for Norfolk and Waveney Mind. Chelsea Pegg, from Norwich, shaved off her long locks on 14th January, raising a fantastic £1,140 so far for the charity, and now sports a fabulous pink crop. Chelsea was inspired to brave the shave after experiencing her own struggles with mental health. “I just wanted to raise money for a charity close to heart and home,” she said. Beth Twite, Fundraising Manager at Norfolk and Waveney Mind, added: “Thank you so much to Chelsea for her fantastic fundraising effort, and all those who have sponsored her. “The money raised will help support our much-needed mental health services across the region.” You can donate to Chelsea’s fund at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/chelsea-pegg Share Tweet Share on WhatsApp
