Current Patrons, Lady Dannatt MBE, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk and Mr William Armstrong OBE, issued a joint statement in response to this latest announcement: “We are delighted to welcome Penny, Han Yang, Nick and James to Norfolk and Waveney Mind. They will help make such a difference to how the charity can influence and change the landscape of mental health services and promote a more informed and compassionate understanding of the plight of those unfortunate enough to be living with mental health conditions across Norfolk and Waveney.”
Louise Jordan-Hall, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Norfolk and Waveney Mind, said: “We really value the support and expertise that our new Patrons, Trustees and Ambassadors will bring to our charity and are delighted to make this announcement to coincide with the launch of our three year public strategy which focusses on community wellbeing, crisis resolution and preventative practices.
“The launch of our strategy, combined with these appointments is just the start of our journey towards achieving our ambition that ‘No one should have to face poor mental health alone and that with the right support and resources anybody can create a life that feels meaningful.’
To achieve our ambition, we will continue to work in partnership with lots of people and organisations, including our volunteers, campaigners, supporters, donors and people who access our services.”
