Walking 4 Norfolk - starts 12 May 2021

We need teams of five to sign up for this challenge and walk the 375 miles at your own pace from Norwich Cathedral to Notre-Dame, Paris, to raise much-needed funds for local charities.

The event will take place virtually and participants should rack up their steps in their local area following government guidelines for Covid-19.

Each member logs their steps online and this will successfully transport their team pin along the mapping system from Norwich Cathedral to the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris!

10% of any funds raised to will go to the Walking 4 Norfolk Fund (managed by Norfolk Community Foundation). The rest of the funds will go entirely to Norfolk and Waveney Mind.

What you will get:
  • A free place in the event
  • A Norfolk and Waveney Mind T-shirt for each team member
  • Fundraising support, advice and tips
  • Certificate and report on the difference your fundraising could make

Mental Health Awareness Week - 18 to 24 May 2020

We marked Mental Health Awareness Week in a special and somewhat different way this year. As this year's theme is kindness, we thought it would be brilliant to celebrate all that is kind, and the positive effects this can have on our mental health.

What better way than to celebrate with a VIRTUAL FESTIVAL taking over our social media? - particularly as lots of us are missing out on festivals this year!

We promoted the kindness message using a variety of festival-favoured content - think music, art, a family area, wellbeing and SOS 'tents' - all encouraging people to connect, keeping kindness in mind.

If you missed the Festival of Kindness, DON'T WORRY - you can still visit our dedicated webpage that's FULL of the entire week's content! Just click here!
