Leave a gift that will support our work in the future

We listen, treat people as individuals and empower anyone coping with a mental health problem, but we need your support to do that. A gift in a will, of any size, can be life changing, sometimes lifesaving to the many local people that need us now, and in the future.

A gift in your will helps ensure no one in Norfolk and Waveney has to cope alone with a mental health problem. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

We realise that leaving a legacy gift is an important decision but it doesn’t have to be complicated. For further information and support please get in touch by telephone on 0300 330 5488 or email rachel.walsh@norfolkandwaveneymind.org.uk

Free Wills Month - March 2021

Make or update your will for free this March with Mind Free Wills Month

We’re determined to be there for everyone experiencing a mental health problem, and we depend on gifts in wills to do so. That’s why, this March we’re working with local solicitors in Norfolk and Waveney, so that you can make or update your will free of charge.*

Simply contact one of the participating solicitors on the website www.freewillsmonth.org.uk to book your appointment, mentioning ‘Mind Free Wills Month’. Appointments are limited, so make sure you book early to avoid missing out.

Solicitors taking part include Notary Near Me, Philip Hook Solicitors, and Story and Robison Solicitors in Norwich; and England & Co Solicitors in Great Yarmouth.

There’s no obligation to make a gift to us in your will, but by choosing to support our work nationally or locally, you can help create a better future for anyone experiencing a mental health problem.

Mind

We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

Norfolk and Waveney Mind

Norfolk and Waveney Mind promotes wellbeing and works to reduce poor mental health and the stigma associated with it through our services and work within the local community. By including us in your will and choosing to support Norfolk and Waveney Mind, you could help support people in their recovery and champion better services for all. Our aim is to make sure that no-one in Norfolk and Waveney has to face a mental health problem alone - and with your support this could be possible.

If making or updating your will with a partner, only one person needs to be 55 or over.

*Simple Wills only. If your will proves more complex, you may be charged the difference – ask the solicitor before the appointment to be sure.
