Fear is a perfectly natural response to a disease outbreak.
But many people are experiencing additional worry and stress at this current time due to lockdown restrictions relating to isolation from work and colleagues, friends and loved ones.
As a direct response to the coronavirus pandemic, Norfolk and Waveney Mind’s Training Team has developed a 1.5-hour workshop: Pandemic and Your Mental Health.
The workshop will provide an opportunity for a structured discussion of your emotional Wellbeing in a time of crisis. Our workshops are limited to a small number of delegates, allowing group discussion to flow more easily and provide opportunity for everyone to speak and be heard.
Our workshop will include a framework to help you:
• understand your reactions to the pandemic
• find ways in which you can actively look after your mental health
• gain a sense of control and purpose
• cope with the current situation and be better able to keep it in perspective
Attending to your mental health now has the potential to give you resilience and skills to help you in the future too.
The workshop is open to any resident of Norfolk and Waveney who has an interest in exploring their mental health and wellbeing.
