This course also identifies best practice strategies to help with supporting a remote workforce

Course outline

Our 3.5 hour virtual training course Youth Mental Health Awareness, will develop your understanding of mental health so that you feel confident in supporting colleagues within your organisation who are experiencing difficulty. It is suitable for anyone with an interest in mental health and/or supporting others.

It uses a framework of evidence-based research to help delegates understand how and why poor mental health arises, how to support others, and how to foster good mental health within the workplace.
The course gives an opportunity for discussions relevant to the current COVID19 pandemic, and its effect more widely on our mental health.
The course is delivered live by an experienced trainer and will provide opportunity for delegates to work alongside one another through a series of specially designed activities. It will of course include discussions and information relevant to the current pandemic.

The course is three and a half hours in length, with 2 short coffee breaks throughout.

Delegates must be able to attend the whole course.
