Waves provides tools and support for people with a diagnosis or traits of Borderline Personality Disorder. It aims to support people with their emotional needs; helping them to make positive connections, better understand the disorder and make improvements in their life choices.
Anchor provides a support network for anyone over the age of 18 who has been bereaved through suicide. The group supports people speaking about their reactions, feelings and emotions, helps to make sense of what has happened and to meet others who are experiencing similar experiences.

This is a new service for Norfolk and Waveney Mind and brings together many aspects of support and intervention for anyone affected by suicide.
We are running a one-year, pilot project exploring the mental health and wellbeing needs of LGBTQ+ people in Norwich. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people are significantly more likely to experience difficulties with their mental health. The reasons for this are complex but we know that many LGBTQ+ people experience bullying, rejection, stigma and discrimination which can lead to low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and isolation.
